“My husband and I wanted to have photos taken of our city hall wedding, so we booked Brett for an hour before and an hour after. Brett was a dream to work with - he was organized and communicative both before and after the actual shoot. We loved that he gave us some direction (turn your body/head/etc. this way, smile, look over there, etc.) but also let us just hang out and laugh and then captured that. Oh, and he let us bring our French bulldog to the shoot so we could have some family photos with her in them. We were worried about how the photos would turn out because neither of us are very photogenic, but we LOVE the end results. The photos are gorgeous and we both look our best. We definitely plan to call Brett again if we ever need professional photos taken. Thank you Brett!”

This post-wedding photography session was the final part of a day of wedding celebration coverage. Having both lived in Paris for several years, these newlyweds chose the Canal Saint-Martin area as a closing location to add something more “local” to their wedding catalogue. The shoot, which brought along their close friends and witnesses, began at the town hall of the 10th arrondissement (Mairie du 10ème), and (passing by a beautifully typical parisien flower shop) headed south along the water until arriving at a sunbathed cafe terrace.
