ENTERTAINMENT PHOTOGRAPHY IN PARIS
My Entertainment assignments cover "Live Performance" & "Sport".
The former could include, for example, Concert Photography or Theatre Photography; the latter can cover a whole manner of live sporting events from training practices to tournaments.
Entertainment Photography, usually having a promotional purpose, can easily incorporate both Portrait & Branding Photography, as desired by the client.
As with my Corporate Event Photography, I aim to make each image of my Live Performance & Sport Photography tell a story about the occasion and generate interest in the event, the subjects (whether performers or sportsmen) and the audience / spectators. Whatever the intended use of the final images - whether for printed brochures or social media posts - I assure clients receive photographs of promotional quality, and not simply "snaps" of "who-is-who".
Fully appreciating the publicity value Entertainment clients want their images to have, I'm conscious to work shots from angles that sell the "grandeur" of the occasion. Like this, I'm able to make even modestly-attended events appear sizable, which, from a promotional outlook, is extremely important - presentation is everything.
My approach to retouching Entertainment photos is meticulous and ever sensitive to their intended use, whether in the context of online or print.
Multiple Shoots Discounts
I offer reduced prices for multiple shoots.
e.g. a band could want coverage of several concerts, or a single concert photography session in addition to a portrait session.
EXTRAS / FREEBIES
Black & White Bonus
Entertainment clients receive an extra black & white edit of each photograph.
FAQs ABOUT PERFORMANCE & SPORT PHOTOGRAPHY
Q) What are your package prices?
I don't advertise fixed prices. I give personalized quotes, tailored to the specific needs of each client. This is due to both the diversity of my photography services and the fact that I want clients to get the best out of their budgets.
Q) How many photographs do you submit?
Unless clients specify an amount, I'll propose an image-count based on the scale and duration of the event. As with all other aspects of my quote, if what I suggest is not appropriate for a particular client, I'll modify the proposal.
Q) Following your submission, can I purchase more photos?
Absolutely - upon a client's request I can send previews of the outtakes from which they can choose additional photographs for me to edit.
Q) We'd like you to photograph our concert, but we're concerned the stage and venue will be very darkly lit. How do you get round this?
Depending on the venue, I can set up lighting equipment on stage.
Q) We'd like our performance documenting, but we're concerned about a photographer's presence distracting the audience.
As an Event Photographer, I'm experienced in working discreetly. If preferred, I can also propose to document both a live performance and a rehearsal, so that clients get both shots capturing their live energy in front of an audience, and true close up shots of them taken from the stage.
Q) We're a theatre company on a tight budget - can you help?!
When requesting a quote clients have the opportunity to specify a "Budget", which helps me to make a proposal in their price range.
Q) I've other questions!
