STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY IN PARIS

*** Please note that my studio is currently undergoing renovations (a process that has been inevitably delayed by the restrictions of the current health crisis). If you are interested in studio portraiture, you are welcome to let me know so that I may contact you as soon as I am able to once again propose this service. In terms of product photography, I am currently only able to propose this service for smaller items; for further information, I invite you to get in touch, describing the item/s you wish to be photographed. ***

THE STUDIO

The studio is located 5 minutes walk from Gambetta métro station (line 3), 75020, Paris.

Fully equipped for both portrait and product work, the space includes a 2,7m x 6m vinyl studio backdrop / floordrop, an array of high-speed strobes, and a wide selection of lighting diffusers.

PORTRAITS & HEADSHOTS FOR PRIVATE CLIENTS

Studio portrait photography is notoriously expensive, especially in large cities, usually to the point that most creative establishments tend to limit themselves to larger commercial projects with higher budgets. Many portrait photographers, working with rented and often shared studio space, will likewise find it difficult to propose reasonable tariffs when it comes to one-off requests. This can often leave the private customer with few options with regards to obtaining truly professional studio portraiture without significantly overpaying.

Having my own small professional studio space, I am able to cater for this demographic and to provide extremely good value professional studio photography to private individuals.

Clients who can most benefit from this include those seeking:

  • corporate headshots for various business profile uses

  • photography for an acting portfolio / actors portfolio

  • promotional imagery for artists and authors

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY FOR BUSINESSES

My premises allow for photography ranging from macro items and materials to products and object arrangements of around 1m². Having industry experience as a digital designer, I have a strong knowledge of product retouch, and can thereby advise as to the best way to shoot your item/s. Typically, as per the intended use of the final images, a product can either be photographed:

  • at high-aperture / low depth of field, thereby retaining a clear outline for clipping / background removal (e.g. for usage in a uniform catalogue or database)

  • at low-aperture / high-depth of field, thereby integrating its background and preserving its natural shadows and floor reflections (e.g. for usage as publicity imagery)
