Corporate portrait photography for the British telecommunications group, organised by the British creative agency.
Asked to create PR portraits of a leading representative in France to be featured in a corporate magazine, a natural light shoot was organised in Paris’s 7th arrondissement. Despite the proximity well known attractions such as Pont Alexandre iii, Invalides and le Grand Palais, being representative of a British company, portraits were framed to incorporate more generic backgrounds. A variety of compositions were submitted, to cover all the potential layouts of the magazine (front cover, double-spread etc).
Taking place on a typically overcast January morning, conditions were perfect for soft-light portraits. For those in need of clean, professional headshots, I can never emphasise enough why, for outdoor portrait shoots, the winter months should not be overlooked; they can truly produce the ideal lighting conditions for corporate shoots of this nature.
